As Managing Director my role covers all areas of the business, from production to sales, finance to support. Having joined in 1996 I’ve worked in each department over the years and enjoy building teams that can deliver and exceed on our customer expectations.
Product Design
I joined the company in 1992 and enjoy the challenges of working on our range of machines that are manufactured on site. A process of continuous development and improvement keeps my team and I busy, the reward of seeing our products proving themselves out in the field.
Project Engineer
IT / Sales
I joined the company in 2016 as Finishing Department Chipper/Fitter where got my knowledge of products.
Since I got moved to the office where enjoy working with our team in sales and looking after company IT structure.
Sales
I joined the team at Richard Western in 2020, with previous experience working in sales and marketing I was grateful for the opportunity to learn more about agricultural machinery and manufacturing. Building relationships and working closely with our valued dealers and customers, is an essential part of my role at Richard Western.
Buyer
I joined the company in 2019 having 10 years experience in manufacturing.
As the Buyer, I enjoy the challenges of supply chain.
Ensuring on-time delivery of quality materials to meet our production requirements is key to my role.
Parts Sales Manager
I started out as a fabricator for the business in 1993 before I took over running the stores as parts manager in 2005. I enjoy the interaction with my customers and getting them the parts they require quickly and efficiently through our parts business.
Parts Sales Assistant
I joined the company in 2015 as a welder/fabricator,
Then progressing through machine shop/sheetmetal area.
I have been in Spare parts Since 2019, where I enjoy supporting our customers in their requirements,
through my breadth of knowledge gained over the years.
